Product description

BDP 558/568 is a fluorophore with the fluorescence maximum at 569 nm in the yellow range of the spectrum. This dye is characterized by a small Stokes shift and a high quantum yield. It is hydrophobic and relatively insensitive to changes in pH or solvent polarity. BDP 558/568 has similar spectral properties to the fluorophores BODIPY ™ 558/568 and Cy3 ™ open.The maleimide derivative BDP 558/568 can be used for conjugation with peptides, proteins, antibodies or other free thiol groups (-SH) bearing molecules.
